AI: where are we going and who's driving?

I stopped posting on Facebook a few years back. I still check my messages from time to time but I choose not to feed the monster that is Facebook AI any longer.

It's been my observation that whatever algorithm is being used to increase engagement lacks ethics and has no problem at all connecting you with things that get under your skin... which is why people on fb are always bickering.

I feel like zuck has to know and I'm not sure it wasn't done intentionally.
